IKEA Components task within IKEA is to pursue the development of future unique and customer friendly solutions within fittings and components to the IKEA range.We create substantial cost-and quality benefits for IKEA in our development and trade of raw materials, components and fittings.IKEA Components is part of the IKEA group and share the IKEA vision and values.Our business is global and we are 750 employees based in Sweden, Slovakia and China.Through co-operation with IKEA Trading Offices we are in addition represented at several other sites around the world.Now we are looking for a Supply Planner.The Supply Planner is a key competence in order to ensure customer success.Starting with securing the availability on a world-wide perspective of a selected part of the range, from the sales start, during the lifetime of the articles, as well as the planning of phasing out the range.This means taking the ownership of the supply chain, act and take decisions to secure the availability as well as decide about scrapping.Your mission as a Supply Planner consists of the following: .Be responsible for the availability (order request fulfillment) to our customer, for a specific range of our articles during their life cycle..Be responsible for the stock level situation and stock structure in our warehouse in order to keep a balance between supply and demand, both for running articles and at in and out phasing of articles..Implement the established supply strategy for ICOMP..Identify potential overstock and out-of-stock situations and take preventive actions..Actively working with the supply parameters in the business system..Overall responsible for identifying and initiating actions to prevent obsolescence and scrap as well as in co-operation with ISTRA and Business Developers taking decision about scrapping..Together with Business Developers, ISTRA and Business Support evaluate, choose and implement optimal order methods for the respective suppliers and article combinations..Regularly update the company with business reports about supply matters of concerns for the business results and give guidelines..Close co-operation with respective ISTRA in all supply matters to be able to optimize the supply and to be able to set up the business according to the Best Buy principle..Support/co-ordinate Trading when supply problems appear.To be successful in this position you need to have: .Broad experience from the different part of IKEA/ICOMP supply chain and our different business set-up's..High knowledge about our business system, MOVEX..Good process knowledge..Economic or logistic education or similar work experience..High analytic ability..Capability of understanding details and at the same time see the big picture..Power of initiative, able to question and challenge across concerned topics..Necessary to write and talk English fluently..Experience from working in Movex and Microsoft Office.It s also very important that you sympathizes with the IKEA core values and that you have the will to develop your service and your work tasks and thereby the company and yourself.
