Nouryon has an outstanding opportunity for a Supply Planner position in Gothenburg (SE). The position is part of the Business Planning & Supply Chain team within the business line Intermediates, part of the business unit Performance Formulations.
The Supply Planner BL Intermediate is responsible for creating and maintaining valid & achievable supply plans within the Product Line Sulphur Derivates, making sure these plans are reconciled to the overall supply strategy, balanced to capabilities in the supply chain, and respond to customer needs profitably. The Supply Planner is a key participant in Supply Planning through the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process and is a constant liaison with Demand Management, Product Management and Integrated Supply Chain.

Main responsibilities
Manage and maintain mid and short-term supply plans to balance customer demand, production and logistics capacities and raw materials requirements to ensure orders are fulfilled as required.
Develop and maintain inventory stocking policies, including safety stock levels and order quantities; ensure that they are followed, to balance service, cost, and inventory based on the objectives of the business.
Optimize the global supply network to determine the most efficient overall supply plan to fulfill customer requirements.
Facilitate site Supply Management Reviews (SMR’s) within the IBP process. Provide SMR output and escalate relevant issues to regional and global SMR’s.
Work collaboratively with the ISC Organization to ensure key assumptions on anticipated production capabilities are reflected within the plans.
Work collaboratively with Demand Management to ensure effective demand and supply balancing within the short- and medium-term horizon.
Support Marketing, Product Management and R&D on supply planning concerning product introductions.
Maintain SAP and Arkieva (IBP/S&OP software) master data relevant for the supply and inventory planning.
Actively drive improvement of planning/scheduling related activities; manage specific supply planning projects.


Qualifications
To be successful in this position, you have the ability to communicate in a professional manner towards all stakeholders and the ability to build successful and long-term relationships. You are confident in your own expertise and deliver results while maintaining a high quality in your work. You also possess the ability to work efficiently as well as independently and you know how to prioritize in your daily work. Further, you demonstrate capability to analyze data (including mass cross-reference data validation), trending and forecasting which are combined with a process-driven and results-oriented mindset.
We also see that you have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, Mathematics, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related discipline.
APICS CPIM is desirable.
Solid understanding of supply chain and business processes with minimum 8 years of documented experience of supply planning.
Extensive experience with IBP/S&OP.
Experience with SAP (or equivalent ERP system) and Arkieva (or equivalent S&OP/advanced planning software). Experience with Power BI and/or Anaplanis advantageous.
Strong communication skills; able to communicate with all functional levels within the business.
Excellent analytical skills.
Ability to prioritize and proactively complete projects with little direction.
Very good English communication skills. If you also have Spanish language skills it is an advantage.
