The Supply & Sourcing team
The Supply and Sourcing team is responsible for the supply chain of components and products at CellaVision. The work at Supply and Sourcing involves customer order handling, manufacturing, purchasing, strategic purchasing, inventory planning, and production planning. Supply & Sourcing is continuously working to fulfill customer demand and secure short- and long-term supply with the right quality and cost.
As a Supply Planning Engineer, you are the important link between product development, purchasing, and production. The Supply & Sourcing team works continuously to reduce manufacturing costs for CellaVision products by finding the right partner and by implementing regular efficiency. As a Supply Planning Engineer, you belong to the Supply & Sourcing department of the division Devices & Software and report to Director Supply & Sourcing.
Key tasks as Supply Planning Engineer
- Secure the synchronization between product development, purchasing, and manufacturing.
- Taking part in operative and strategical actions regarding manufacturing and product development.
- Responsible for ensuring that the products are prepared in an economically and practically beneficial way. Taking part in FMEA.
- Taking part and affect the process of developing manufacturing documentation and that the documentation is accurate and easy to understand and create the opportunity for efficient production flows.
- Work with cost-cutting and quality-seeking measures in production and inventory.
- Change coordination within CellaVision together with third part manufacturers.
- Participation with deviation management regarding manufacturing, warehousing, and purchasing.
- Be responsible for the production tool process i.e. tool management
- Taking part in the return handling/claim process to suppliers.

Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in either construction/production or equivalent in the relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in similar tasks
- Experience in medical devices or regulatory operations is merit.
To be successful in the role, it is important to:
- You understand the flow of components and products in assembly manufacturing.
- You understand departments' different processes and routines and how they interact.
- Work closely with the manufacturers and act as their manufacturing contact in CellaVision.
- You can read and understand drawings for components and products.
- You have experience with ERP systems such as ERP or SAP. Experience with the JEEVES ERP system is merit.
- Good simultaneous ability
- A good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish as well as in English
- You have good computer experience and you master the Office suite well.
- Travel to 3 PM (Jönköping) for about 5-20 days a year
