Ready for a new challenge? We are hiring a SQE to Components in Ludvika Hitachi Energy Sweden!
As SQE you will work on ensuring customers satisfied with PGTR products via applying risk-oriented quality assurance methodologies and necessary supplier improvement initiatives to achieve on-time and on-quality delivery of the supplier parts/materials. Complete quality audits, follow-ups, and the inspections at supplier manufacturing locations.
You will be included in a small team and have close collaboration with the SCM Category teams to support the implementation of Category strategy. Function as liaison between SCM, Technology, Quality and Operations and the Suppliers to prioritize supplier development needs. Support TCO analysis, cost reduction and quality cost claims recovery.
To be successful in this role you have strong organizational and communication skills. You have ability to create a collaborative environment for accomplishing project objectives, including leading cross-functional teams, remote meetings and workshops. You have driver license and a willingness to travel.
Your responsibilities
Qualify new suppliers and reevaluate existing supplier base by performing audits.
Lead the nonconformity resolution process with the suppliers in case of the escalated technical issues from the factories and ensure the effective root-cause analysis and the countermeasure implementation by the suppliers.
Monitor and consolidate the supplier delivery and quality KPI’s, the critical non-conformities escalated from the factories. Identify the top concern suppliers within the region or specific category.
Develop our supply quality procedures within the assigned responsibility area. Making sure we work proactive with our suppliers in making sure we have the right quality delivered on the material we purchase.

Your background
Relevant quality assurance and /or processes, manufacturing, or supplier quality management experience in production environment
Strong understanding of quality and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 8D, DMAIC, 5Why, A3, Poka-Yoke) and have practical hands-on technical problem-solving experience.
Proven experience with the process audits, Process Control Plan and Statistical Process Control.
Familiarity with ISO-9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 standards is a plus.
Lean Six Sigma education and certification is preferred.
Fluency in Swedish and English both written and spoken.
