Supply Quality Assurance, SQA Engineer

Nobel Biocare is the world leader in innovative restorative and esthetic dental solutions, providing dental professionals with state of the art evidence-based tooth-to-root solutions, including dental implants, all-ceramic crowns, bridges and laminates, guided surgery planning, scanners and biomaterials.Nobel Biocare has approximately 2,400 dedicated, interdisciplinary and highly skilled employees across the world.The company is headquartered in Zurich.For more information please go to www.nobelbiocare.com.As SQA Engineer your will ensure that the suppliers of our externally produced products have established procedures for expected quality level.Your main responsibilities will be to: - Act as speaking partner towards our suppliers regarding methods and tools from a quality assurance perspective.- Assess processes and routines at our suppliers.- Participate from early phases to make sure that our products can be verified in an effective and quality assured manner.- Secure that initial sample is in accordance with technical specification in collaboration with responsible Design Engineer at Research & Development department.- Responsible for attaining special tools e.g.gauges needed for control of procured products.- Write inspection instructions for outsourced products, to be used in our warehouse.- Participate in joint audits with different departments or exclusive QA audit performed at our suppliers.- Conduct technical analysis on our customer complaints.- Actively and continuously work with improving processes and routines including make sure that documentation is available.- Be the contact person for test institutes and gauge suppliers.- Closely co-operate with other global functions e.g.research and development, purchasing, and manufacturing.Our candidate has a university degree in engineering and/or Quality Assurance and at least 5 years experience from a similar position in a medical device company.You have experience from independently coordinating and executing the whole SQA process.Experience from cross functional work is a must and if you have experience from positions within purchasing and/or R&D departments we consider that as an advantage.Furthermore you have good understanding of manufacturing industry and you are an analytical person with ability to understand the overall picture.You have knowledge to work with FDA, with ISO 13485:2005 or similar regulations.It is important that you have good interpersonal skills and a creative/innovative mind.Fluent in Swedish and English both spoken and written.Welcome to apply for this position at www.proffce.se/lifescience soonest and at the latest October 17th.
