You will be part of Process Industries, a division within ABB's Process Automation business area that delivers complete automation, electrification and instrumentation solutions, industry-specific products and lifecycle services to customers in Pulp & Paper, Mining, Metals, Battery, Aluminum and Cement businesses.
As a Supply Quality Manager, you will develop and implement Supplier Quality strategy and initiatives across the teams being part of ABB Process Industries. You will be driving excellence in quality, delivery and compliance, while ensuring a sustainable performance.

The position is located in Västerås, Helsinki, Vaasa or Ostrava and will be reporting to HUB Supply Chain Manager - Northern Europe.
Your responsibilities
Develop and implement Supplier Quality strategy and initiatives across the teams in Process Industries North Europe organization
Drive excellence in quality, delivery, compliance, and sustainable performance
Monitor and report supplier performance (KPIs), quality issues and development actions, supporting conformance to ABB quality metrics
Ensure global processes are implemented and maintained
Lead supply quality issue resolution including supplier claims preparation, leading supplier performance evaluation and supplier quality development activities
Ensure full utilization of local system for reporting, monitoring and disposition of quality, on time delivery (OTD) and compliance
Implement supplier quality strategies across several countries and business lines, both product and system business, large global projects and small service business locally
Your background
Min. 5 years of experience in several of the following areas: Supplier Quality Engineering in an industrial environment, Continuous Improvement, Lean Six Sigma, Process Design, Lean Production, Manufacturing & Quality, Change Management, Audit, Statistical Analysis
Experience in coordinating quality control activities in a manufacturing environment
Experience in developing Inspection and Test Plan
Experience using problem-solving methodologies
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and ERP systems (SAP) are an asset
Ability to interact with different stakeholders and motivation to train and drive change
Hands-on and problem-solving mentality to challenge “status quo”
A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
Working experience or a degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or Industrial Engineering
Fluency in English. Good Swedish and/or Finnish level and any additional language is seen as an asset
