Acarix as a company
Acarix (www.acarix.com) is a Swedish medical device company that innovates solutions for rapid AI-based rule out of Coronary Artery Disease (CAD). The CE approved and FDA cleared Acarix CADScor® system is intended for patients experiencing stable chest pain with suspected CAD and designed to help reduce millions of unnecessary, invasive, and costly diagnostic procedures. The CADScor® system calculates a patient-specific CAD-score non-invasively in less than 10 minutes with 97% confidence.
Acarix was established in 2009 as a spin-off from Coloplast A/S, a research and development collaboration based on pioneering research from the Aalborg University in Denmark. After receiving the CE approval, Acarix was listed on Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market in 2016. The first market introduction took place in Germany in 2017 and now Acarix holds entities in Sweden, Denmark, DACH region and US.
We are expanding and are now looking for a Supply and Service Engineer. In a small team of dedicated and skilled colleagues we encourage you to be involved in solving challenges, finding solutions and develop the company. We are a growing medical device company, and this role is very hands-on. You will be responsible throughout the whole process within supply, service, and production. Our products save lives, and we are dedicated and proud of what we deliver.
What will you do?
As Supply and Service Engineer you will be responsible for:
· Purchasing components and handling direct communication with suppliers
· Testing and preparing systems for delivery
· Packing and shipping systems and patches
· Incoming inspection and part evaluation
· Service and support
Test and investigate products related to complaints
Work actively with e.g. complaints and continuous improvements
Supporting sales and suppliers when needed
Inventory management and traceability
Who are you?
You have a truly flexible mindset and like to be part of a small and growing company where you will be involved in both hands-on tasks on a daily basis, and sometimes more strategic discussions. Where others see obstacles, you see solutions. Seeing the big picture, that comes with a smaller company, motivates you. You are communicative and social as teamwork and collaboration are essential to your success at Acarix. You are responsible, well-organized, and flexible when needed. You are fluent in English and Swedish or Danish.
It is also nice if you have:
A Technical background (university engineer or similar) and interest preferably in the electronics, acoustics and/or mechatronics field
At least 5 years of experience from similar work, preferable in a smaller medtech-, medical device-, life science-, or automotive company.
