Within the commercial side for Bid Management of gas turbines, we need promptly to appoint a Commercial Bid Manager, location Finspång.

This company has customers all over the world, so you should find other cultures interesting and stimulating since you will interact with colleagues around the world.

You will be an active part of the sales and bid departments with contacts in Finspång and around the world on a daily basis.

The sales process as a whole can take several years to a won order. Your focus will be the part of the process that starts with the decision to make a firm offer until the order closing and handover to the project implementation organization takes place.

The tasks mainly involve:

To support the Bid Managers and Commercial Sales Managers who are physically located either in Finspång or at one of our sales hubs around the world with the preparation of quotation documentation and underlying calculations, e.g.:

• Administration and preparation of contract documents mainly for internal customers
• Preparation of cost information, risk analysis and control of project specific costs.
• Financial costs in calculations, such as project-specific exchange rates
• Plausibility check of project calculations
• Internal agreements with companies in the country where the gas turbines are to be installed.

The work includes to some extent also to actively work with further development of the business with the main focus on bid preparation and preparation of documentation the internal risk review process within the Gas Services Distributed business area.

We are looking for you who have an interest in developing in a challenging environment with international contacts. You need to have an interest in international trade. You should preferably have experience of similar tasks. Your university education can be business administration, business law with economic interest or engineering with economic interest or other equivalent background.

As a person, you are result-oriented, well structured and prone to take own initiatives. Good knowledge of English is a prerequisite, i.e. has the ability to express yourself fluently both verbally and in writing.

 

This is a full-time consulting assignment 40h/w with working hours 8-17 on weekdays. You will be employed as a consultant through us at The Place. The desired start is immediately up to and including 31/3–2024.
