We are looking for a Support & Delivery Engineer to Teoco in Sweden.
This role requires a candidate to provide customers with technical support and perform installation and integration of the Company’s software products on client networks and IT infrastructure. The role includes design, implementation and testing of product libraries. You will also provide hands on training to the customers’ on-site team. You will have very good communication skills and have excellent fault finding skills.
What you will do:
Interface with customers to facilitate acceptance testing.
Document systems solutions.
On-site installation and support.
Keep in regular contact with the customer and be proactive to their needs.
Be able to identify problems early to prevent escalations.
Provide regular updates to the customer on key issues.
Provide on the job training to the customers onsite team.
Develop ad-hoc solutions to problems discovered through the project life cycle.
Design, develop and test CRs and new libraries using TEOCO’s tools.
Act as the focal point for all project technical aspects.
Interact with R&D to resolve problems, receive corrections and implement fixes.
Setting up and maintaining clear and effective internal and external communication within the customer, delivery and R&D teams.
Assist in resolving on-going support and maintenance related issues.
What we’re looking for
Technical skills:
Good user skills on Unix/Linux/Sun Solaris/Windows Operating System
Good knowledge of UNIX scripting
Software Integration experience
Oracle SQL and PL/SQL experience
Familiar with SQL & SQL scripts & Web application server (WebLogic)
Other:
5 or more years of experience in developing and maintaining SW for Telecom customers.
Experience in Wireless Telecoms and working with an international customer base.
Helix libraries development experience (Optional)
Familiar with Telecom / Communications / OSS and BSS industries.
Ability to develop alternative solutions and create tools.
Strong sense of customer service for both internal and external customers.
A self-starter who is proactive in contributing towards business unit goals and has the ability to work effectively within a team, locally and remotely.
Attention to detail and thorough, the ability to test and re-test implementations before implementing on the live system to ensure all tasks are performed at a high standard.
Able to react quickly to customer requests and enjoys overcoming challenges.
Organized, able to multi-task and be able to work under pressure.
Good English language skills (Reading, writing and speaking).
Education:
Engineering degree.
This is a full-time position in Sweden.
