Volvo Penta is hiring a Support Engineer to Field Service Support!


Job description:


As Support Engineer you will work with Volvo Penta key customers within all segments. In this role you will have a key position in the technical support chain to our Business Units, markets, and dealers.
Your main responsibility will be to coordinate corrective and troubleshooting actions, and to make sure our Market Support organization can get solutions accepted by the end user and the OEMs. This job requires a curious, make it happen-oriented and flexible person with the ability to take on complex cases, and at the same time strive for ongoing improvements in the work.
The position is located in Gothenburg, Sweden and will require that you sometimes travel to the market for on-site support with a short notice.

Other important qualifications
A High School degree (Swedish Technical Gymnasium) or Higher degree in engineering.
Good understanding and experience of technical troubleshooting, especially on electronics.
Fluency in English and Swedish, other languages are beneficiary.
Good knowledge and experience from working with Volvo Penta engines, drives, and their control systems, especially EVC, is an advantage. If you also have good knowledge of internal Volvo systems such as Argus, this is also considered a benefit.
To have good knowledge of engineering systems such as EVC Flash and Vision is also considered an advantage.
