Support Engineer - Mechanical components

Supply Chain Operations Tetra Pak Supply Chain Operations manufactures packaging material, packaging systems and distribution solutions for Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions.The Capital Equipment Supply Chain division (CE SCO) is responsible for the manufacture and supply of filling machines and Distribution Equipment from receipt of order until performance is achieved at the customer's site.The department Supplier Management is looking for a person who will work with standardization activities within various product groups depending on need.You will be part of our Component Standardization team, which has the total ownership of the standardized component assortment within Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions.The work is driven in close cooperation with Designers, Supply Managers and Suppliers. Your main responsibilities will be to: .Organize and structure component data.. Introduce, change and phase out components . Market the component assortment internally at Tetra Pak . Support automation/mechanical engineers with basic component advice.To be a successful candidate you should have an education in engineering and/or equivalent experience.A very good command of English, both written and verbal is required.Experience from previous work within production/service or product design is meriting.The person we are looking for is organized, structured and motivated for an administrative work.Since an important part of the position is to build long-term relationships within the organisation and with suppliers is it important that you have very good communication and interpersonal skills.Please submit your application online at www.tetrapak.com/working no later than 29th May 2007.
