We are looking for a Support Engineer at ABB Robotics & Discrete Automation in Mölndal, Sweden. In this position you will provide expert 3rd line technical product support to our internal colleagues.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of ABB Robotics software products, as well as building a network within ABB as we work closely with colleagues from around the world.
This position reports to Customer Operations Manager.
Your responsibilities
Provide expert technical advice and guidance for ABB Robotics software products.
Work closely with R&D and Product Management to process feature requests and product defect reports.
Participating as a team member and applying knowledge and competencies to assist global colleagues with customer requests. Working according to a given task description.
Contributing to project activities using relevant processes and tools.
Working to improve operations and increase customer satisfaction according to incoming requests.
Your background
University degree in Engineering/Computer Science or similar.
Fluency in English, written and spoken alike. Swedish and other languages are beneficial.
It's meritorious if you have prior knowledge and experience of providing 3rd line product/technical support (working with case tracking systems, escalations, response times, team work etc.)
A basic understanding of networking with an ability to provide troubleshooting assistance.
Project management and programming skills, especially an understanding of REST APIs.
General understanding of infrastructure and communication behind IoT-platforms / Web based solutions.
Knowledge/experience of robotics, especially ABB RobotStudio.
On a personal level you are enthusiastic, want to learn new things and can work well independently but also within a team.
