A wide selection of barrier coatings enables the design and optimisation of packaging for various demanding consumer and industrial packaging end uses.
We are now looking for Support Manager, Master Planning, Packaging Materials
We are looking for a hands-on data, data-driven supply chain expert to support the Master Planning in Packaging Materials Supply Chain. You are an energetic person, who gets things done with an analytical, yet pragmatic approach. You will help us to accelerate our continuous improvement journey by developing new tools and processes and facilitate best practice sharing between the colleagues. You are flexible, open-minded and are not afraid of uncertainty. The best plan is something we can change fast when world around us changes. Our target is to provide peace of mind for the business and the customer.
Master Planning owns the tactical and operational planning process and is responsible of supply planning including wood, pulp, board production, converting and logistics. Demand and supply balancing including quota management belongs to Master Planning.
We offer an exciting opportunity to see the front line of the business from close range. You will work closely with the Master Planning colleagues on business line/segment and mill levels as well as be a member of the Master Planning Leadership Team.
The main areas of responsibilities are listed here, but the final content of the job will depend on the chosen applicant.
Your key tasks include:
· OMP business key user for supply planning and balancing supporting the implementation and further development of the tool
· Support scenario preparations in supply planning and balancing process
· Coordinate supply planning process
· Develop Master Planning toolkit further looking into optimization/simulation methods and technology e.g. by developing more granular stock follow-up
· Initiate and drive continuous improvement and use of common practices in Master Planning tools and processes by facilitating best practice sharing across various levels of the organization through engaging with people and hands-on helping the implementation
· Proactively support Master Planning on all levels - Business line, Business Segment, Converting and Mills
· Maintain active contact with various stakeholders and broaden the perspective to improve the understanding of the big picture and the relevant details
· Key user for VOICE delivery performance from Master Planning point of view
· Execute and develop of Master Planning weekly and monthly reporting
We are looking for these qualifications when selecting the person for the role:
· Capability to run given responsibility area independently
· Ability to construct the big picture and create supporting tools and processes to address the relevant details
· Ability to combine understanding of real-life and data
· Service minded problem solver with strong analytical skills
· Ability to work collaboratively in an international team with excellent networking and communication skills building sustainable relationships with all stakeholders
· Ability to lead end-to-end and improve with advanced methods
· Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in the areas of Supply Chain, Sales, Operations or Finance
· Good understanding of Stora Enso sales and production planning systems as well as the analytical tools (MS Office, Fenix, OMP, SAP, Power BI, MES)
· Good knowledge of packaging materials value chain meriting: business, supply chain, sales and operations logic and processes
· Commercial or technical university degree
· Fluency in English, other language skills are an advantage (especially Finnish, Swedish and Polish)
· Willingness to travel
You will be reporting to Samuli Toikka VP, Head of Master Planning, Packaging Materials
The location of the position is flexible and you can locate either in Helsinki or in any of the production sites in Packaging Materials.
