We are about 100 people at CSAM Public Safety. The majority is located in Gothenburg, but we also have offices in Oslo, Karlstad, Stockholm, Valencia (Spain), Reading (UK) and Auckland (NZ). Of course, we also have "home offices" and it is perfectly fine to be working from home too. We are expanding and growing our team looking for a Support technician who is passionate about helping our customers. We have a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing. THE POSITION:
As an important part of CSAMs support team, you as a support technician will be responsible for the support around our 112 solution, which is installed at SOS Alarm and several other blue light customers around the world. You are passionate about solving problems and offering service in the highest class.
You have customer-related contact on a daily basis where you run ongoing technical support issues as well as complex analyses and troubleshooting. Our main contact is with our customer’s technicians which means very deep technical level (2nd line support). Several times a year you are also involved in projects where you are an important part of planning and performing upgrades to our customers' systems. Since our technicians have such broad expertise, they also act as advisors on issues that improve our customers' entire IT environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
To succeed in your role with us, we believe that you have a great interest in technology, understand the importance of customer service and enjoy taking responsibility. You work well in teams and enjoy that your work really matters! You are good at finding solutions and conveying them in both speech and writing. You therefore master Swedish and English in both speech and writing.
Experience of installing and managing complex and large mission-critical IT systemsKnowledge in IT, communication systems or similarHigher education degree, preferably in IT or equivalent experienceMost systems run in a Windows environment so experience with SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, WCF communication, XML, and SOAP is preferable. Understanding for code and independent troubleshooting is highly meritorious
