Due to our continuous grow Tata Technologies Nordics AB is now looking to recruit a Surface Designer experienced within Polygon Modelling.
The Role:
We are looking for a Surface Designer/Polygon modeller skilled in Blender/Alias SubD/Maya for an assignment at one of our biggest OEMs. The task will be to develop polygon models in the early phase of the design process. Main input will be sketches, rough alias models from designers and scan data from clay models combined with technical input from our studio engineers. We expect you to be a self-going modeller with at least 5 years of experience from polygon modelling within the automotive business.
Knowledge/Skills:
Experience with Blender, SubD or Maya
Minimum 5 years of modelling experience in the automotive industry
Experience with strategic concept modelling
Good technical understanding
Ability to deliver within agreed time frame and quality
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
Swedish work permit
Experience with class A surface modelling in Alias or Icem Surf is a plus
