Surface Modeler within Automotive R&D

At Semcon, design is part of our DNA and part of our offer: product development with a focus on the end user. We are now looking for our new colleague to grow together with our offerings.

Your mission is to;

- Develop aesthetic surfaces for components of vehicle interior/exterior work, taking into consideration the interactions between these components and the vehicle’s other systems, the ergonomic and functional requirements and the styling constraints coming from our design team
- Create quality, accurate 3D Digital surface models that communicate conceptual design intent using Alias or ICEM Surf
- Develop properties from the concept stage to production ready quality for tooling release
- Advise and suggest solutions to overcome design or engineering issues
- Be a great communicator! Our ability to maintain a close synergy between design, modeling and engineering




We are curious about you that take pride in the quality of your work and thrive in a creative environment that is fast-paced.

- Five years of surfacing experience with Alias or ICEM Surf.
- Class A or production experience.
- An understanding of visualization software is also beneficial.
- Are fluent in Swedish and English.
