We are now looking for a Sustainability Analyst Cab Over Engine Trucks
(Cab over engine refers to European heavy duty truck architecture)
The Position:
In this role you will be cooperating with Product Planners in my group as well as with Brands and engineering to develop, consolidate the Cab Over Engine Trucks CO2 Roadmap, Science Based Target Roadmap, and work with Volvo Group Connected Services for vehicle usage analysis using connected vehicle data.
Your keys responsibilities will be the following:
Drive, update and release Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks CO2 Roadmap.
Drive, update and release Volvo Trucks and Renault Trucks Science Based Target Roadmap (SBTi),
Consolidate Volvo Group Trucks SBTi including Volvo Trucks North America and Mack Trucks, with support of Conventional Strategic Product Planning
Develop and improve CO2 and SBTi IT Tool with support of Volvo IT.
Analyze and improve data input/quality for these respective roadmaps, work closely with Energy Efficiency Feature leader, with Powertrain for emission factor roadmap and with Regulatory Affairs for actuals. Perform sensitivity analysis and recommend product evolution (product offering / volumes development) with the goal achieved Volvo Group and Brands ambitions.
Report quarterly update of these Roadmaps to Volvo Group top management
Lead strategic investigations in the field of vehicle usage and infrastructure in cooperation with Volvo Group Connected Services data analytics
WHO ARE YOU?
You will be in the midst of our sustainability roadmaps, so a holistic future-looking mindset is a key ability. Other important aspects are a analytical way of working, capacity to handle large amount of information, acquaintance to data analysis and understanding of data scientist language. You are able to navigate into the organization and handling multiple stake holders, make synthetic and easy to understand recommendations for clear conclusions.
You don’t hesitate to speak your mind and can present your data in an easy to understand and convincing way. You have a winning attitude always prepared to push the targets to secure products in the technology forefront.
In this role, you will demonstrate leadership skills, good negotiation and communication. You will be recognized by your deep understanding of the sustainability roadmap mechanism, by your truck product knowledge, market and industry, product offering and usage.
You have a suitable engineering background in automotive or transport industry. You hold a M.Sc. Or B.Sc.
