About the job
In this position, you provide proactive decision support and recommendations by developing and analyzing EHS and Sustainability data and performance indicators. You also perform the required reporting of EHS and Sustainability data according to internal and external requirements. In this role, you work closely to the chair of SMS Sustainability & EHS Council.
Also included in your job:
Design efficient and relevant reporting structures and tools for Sustainability and EHS at SMS.
Responsible to consolidate data from various sources and create required analysis and reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders and be proactive in building subject expertise and awareness of future demands on company sustainability reporting. Coordinate work within SMS to gather needed data for required Sustainability and EHS reporting.
Proactively perform data analysis to inform about development and support decision making, as well as external trend reporting.
Administration and arrangement connected to SMS Sustainability & EHS Council.

The location for this position is in Fagersta, Sweden, or flexible within central Europe. However, we also offer part-time remote work possibilities, and some travel is included in your job.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a university degree in business administration or data science. You have a background from working in a similar role in industrial manufacturing in a global setting – for example process development, management, development of procedures or definitions.
We also appreciate your:
Experience from working with process development/management, developing procedures and definitions.
Knowledge in various sustainability requirements.
Awareness of auditing and internal control procedures.
Knowledge in software solutions and a sense for technical opportunities.
Microsoft 360 solutions experience, especially for Power BI and Excel.
Subject matter expertise and awareness of future demands on company sustainability reporting.
Awareness of Sustainability Reporting Frameworks and internationally accepted frameworks for disclosing climate related information.
Excellent English skills, both in written and verbal.
