For Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions and the division Stationary Crushing and Screening, we’re now looking for a team player with strong drive who wants to lead our important EHS work and contribute to a brighter future. Welcome to an exciting position in a growing business area within Sandvik!
Your mission
You drive the division's EHS and sustainability journey, working closely with key internal stakeholders to facilitate the implementation of the sustainability strategy and our “Stationary Way”. Supporting the development and implementation of EHS KPIs you follow up on the strategy while collaborating with the EHS community and department managers within the division and driving our business to take the next steps towards zero harm and a sustainable future. You consolidate the KPIs and facilitate best practice – continuously benchmarking internally as well as against other industry peers and customers. You communicate the progress of work on implementing the EHS and sustainability strategy, develop and drive EHS Management System, as well as monitor, evaluate relevance and alignment with existing, new, and emerging sustainability regulations, requirements, standards, and guidelines.
This position is based at our headquarters in Svedala Sweden, alternatively at any of our other Sandvik SRP sites worldwide. International travelling will be a natural part of the role.
Your character
We’re looking for someone with an academic degree within a relevant field or with equal knowledge gained from working life. You have experience from developing and Managing EHS and sustainability, EHS Management System, engaging networks, setting targets and driving change, strategy work in this area according to for example SBTi, a proven record of setting up methods and processes and are comfortable in general reporting systems. Experience in the mining and construction industry is beneficial and as you’re working in a truly global organization you need to be fluent in English.
You’re effective in leading and aligning work in an international matrix organization – a can-do person that drives initiatives with self-motivation to achieve targets and build a solid Sustainability and EHS culture. You’re responsive and solution-focused –committed and inspiring. For you, it’s important to create and maintain good relationships and you run projects proactively, both independently and in teams.
