About the position
As a Sustainability Assessment and Quality (SAQ) consultant at Scania, you will play a pivotal role in our Procurement Chassis team, ensuring our commitment to sustainability through effective management of supplier sustainability ratings. Your responsibilities will include reaching out to suppliers, guiding them through the data submission process, and maintaining high-quality sustainability ratings.

Key responsibilities
- Initiating and maintaining contact with suppliers to gather sustainability data.
- Clearly communicating the importance of the requested information and guiding suppliers through the data submission process.
- Articulating the consequences of non-compliance with our sustainability requirements.
- Assisting suppliers in accurately filling out the supplier system and providing necessary guidance and support.

Training and support
We will provide comprehensive training in the supplier system and effective supplier communication strategies. Initially, you will support one procurement team, gradually extending your assistance to other teams until achieved satisfactory levels of approved sustainability ratings.

Candidate profile
We are seeking an independent individual who possesses the following qualities:
- Quick understanding of tasks and the ability to efficiently learn new systems
- Strong communication skills, enabling professional interactions with suppliers
- An organized approach to tracking the supplier progress, summarizing status, and reporting to the management team
- Ability to quickly build relations with new colleagues
- Post-secondary education with relevant focus or work experience in similar roles
- We believe that an interest in sustainability will drive motivation and lead to better results
- Proficiency in English is required
