The position
The Sustainability Controller will support Roxtec Group’s transformation towards a more sustainable future. The role is part of the Corporate Finance team, but you will work closely with the Sustainability Manager and cover complementary focus areas to ensure all sustainability initiatives are covered within the team, with focus on reporting and compliance. You will also be part of cross-functional projects and work directly with our subsidiaries to drive sustainability initiatives across the group.

You report to the Group Controller. The employment is at the headquarters in Karlskrona.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and EU Taxonomy reporting. This includes specializing in the ESRS disclosures (working directly from EU legislation).
• Analyze and evaluate reported data.
• Work closely with colleagues in other functions to ensure timely alignment with changing reporting regulation, including the EU Taxonomy Directive and CSRD.
• Work closely with group finance and reporting, sustainability and strategy teams in business projects and proactively manage ESG data in such projects.
• Support the overall business in driving improvement projects within sustainability.
• Oversee and constantly improve our internal sustainability reporting quality (our data collected from subsidiaries), supporting our subsidiaries on how to meet the reporting standards, and sharing best practice across the group.

Good to have:

• Data management, financial and/or business analysis skills
• Sustainability or non-financial reporting experience
• Proven experience in Excel; mid-to advanced level
• Experience in (non-financial) reporting and data management software
• Degree in sustainability, law, finance, or related field
• Language – English written and spoken; high proficiency
• Strong analytical skills to gather, analyze and make data-driven decisions
• Collaboration skills to effectively influence and interact at all levels of the organization and across business functions
• Interest in sustainability and a will to contribute to building a more sustainable business

The Sustainability Controller will play an active role in representing the group’s vision and mission while supporting the goals of the overall business. We are looking for a candidate who has proven experience in being “the spider in the web” and enjoys collaborating with others and engaging with colleagues across all business units and markets. You will lead discussions and support and encourage others to act on our sustainability agenda and targets.
