Sustainability Data Expert – Facilities
Gothenburg

You want to make a difference, so do we!
Volvo Cars wants to achieve a sustainable transition of our global building stock. We are working with a new real estate strategy for all our non-manufacturing facilities where sustainability and attractiveness is to be on par with cost and all facilities will be graded based on sustainability, attractiveness, and cost performance.  This to support our long-term vision of becoming climate neutral and fully circular by 2040 as well as our short-term target of achieving 100% climate neutral energy use in all owned and leased facilities by 2025.

Whats in it for you?
We are looking for a Sustainability Data Expert to help us make a difference! You will be part of a new sustainability team within the cluster of Corporate Functions. The team is responsible for shaping the global workplace, building the sustainability strategy, and guiding its implementation, by focusing on cross-functional alignment and raising the ambition level in line with decided strategies.

What you will do:
You will be responsible for our facility sustainability data which is being collected in our newly developed IT support tool FEST (Facility Environmental and Sustainability Tool). You will also be responsible for analyzing and reporting the data to internal and external reports as well as add new requirements on FEST and other relevant systems/tools when additional data or analyzes is needed. You will also be responsible for setting new targets when relevant as well as working with our global colleagues to set up action plans on how to reach the targets and follow them up.

Who you are:
You have a university degree in a relevant area, e.g., industrial ecology, environmental engineering or similar and a few years relevant work experience. We see that you are a collaborator who builds trust to drive results in a good way. Communication skills are important to create engagement around the topics. At the same time, you really enjoy data handling and structure as a lot of data needs to be handled, analyzed, and reported on a regular basis.
