Main tasks and responsibilities
The key purpose of this role is to achieve the highest degree of ethical and sustainable purchasing and best value for money across all spend activities.
You will work for a shift of mindset and holistic approach toward sustainable procurement to create profound system transformation and growth. It will require hands on activities such as supplier audits and supplier development at the same as you influence every part of the procurement strategy, processes and decisions and integrate sustainability criteria into a range of procurement processes.

Focus areas
Engage in extensive internal and external networking to drive the Sustainability agenda.
Act as a bridge builder to enable new collaborations and partnerships in close collaboration with the business.
Supplier audits and supplier development.
Influence every part of the procurement strategy, processes and decisions.
Drive ethical and sustainable procurement practice across all buying activities.
Integrate sustainability criteria into a range of procurement processes, such as when selecting new suppliers, in tenders, etc.
Research or review regulatory, technical, or market issues related to sustainability.
Identify or create new sustainability indicators.
Identify and contribute to mitigate sustainability risks.
Proactively support and advice on sustainability related topics.
Identify or procure needed resources to implement sustainability programs or projects.
Assess or propose sustainability initiatives, considering factors such as cost effectiveness, technical feasibility, and acceptance.
Share and develop sustainability competence throughout the business by inspiring and empowering co-workers.
Change management and process development.

Reporting to: VP Procurment, Malmö
The skills you will need
Academic degree in finance, logistics, engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years’ experience of sustainable procurement
Experience of delivering strategic plans; negotiating large-scale contracts; and dealing with complex demands and strategic supplier relationships is required
In-depth knowledge of sustainability and procurement principles and best practices
Experience from an FDA controlled environment is an advantage
Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
The ideal candidate
As a ideal candidate for the position you have the ability to articulate, demonstrate, and deliver a sustainable vision for Procurement, drawing upon proven prior experiences.
You have profound working experience of sustainability within procurement and has successfully led change initiatives across geographies and divisions in your previous roles. You are used to working with and have the ability to influence different stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
Personal qualities
The right candidate is a results-oriented person with an analytical ability, with strong written and oral communication skills. A strong understanding on constructively engaging stakeholders to create long-term foundations with senior leadership and suppliers. The right candidate is persistent and shows diligence to details and has the ability to understand market dynamics.
