Facility Asset Management (BEM), within Scania Real Estate Services AB (SRES), is the department responsible for the management of commercial properties of the Scania Group. SRES’s management scope covers all major areas such as administration, sustainability, maintenance, and new investments. SRES owns in excess of 300 properties organised in either dedicated legal real estate subsidiaries, or real estate reporting units.
Do you want to be part of Scania´s journey to drive the shift towards sustainable transport systems? Sustainable facilities will be an essential part of this logistics flow. We are looking for a highly motivated person who will be instrumental in making our facilities energy efficient and sustainable. The assignment is to develop assessment tools, methods and instructions which will help Scania deliver on its goals and objectives. Also, you will be our expert providing hands-on operational support to our global organisation. Based in Sodertalje but with a global mission!
Work description
You will develop and implement an environmental framework covering a life-cycle perspective - from construction to end of operation. The spectrum covers owned- as well as leased properties, conservation of energy, maintenance, and construction methods and materials. This work is done in close collaboration with local real estate counterparts. However, an important part of your mission is to also liaise, coordinate, and cooperate with central functions at Scania. You will also play an important role in our quest towards excellence in maintaining our properties. We work with an IT-tool named Tririga, for which you will take a leading role in implementing the sustainability module.
Frequent travelling is expected. You will report to the Head of Facility Asset Management.
Your profile
You are engaged in sustainability issues and have experience from real estate, working with environmental assignments, preferably from a company with international operations. You hold a university degree in environmental science/engineering or equivalent, or can demonstrate extensive work experience from the field.
You are dedicated, creative, and with strong communication skills. You also possess a strong commitment towards achieving results and creating value. Fluency in English required, Swedish desired.
