About the job

This interesting senior leadership position for Sustainability is both strategic and tactical, with a focus on internal as well as external stakeholders. Sustainability is an area of continues development and focus for the organisation. Your key focuses the first year would be to drive the development and integration of the company’s sustainability agenda with associated goals across Alfa Laval.

In order to create a truly integrated sustainability agenda, you need to network and partner up with all relevant parts of the organisation. Reporting to the VP of Sustainability, the Sustainability Manager will be based in Lund.

Key responsibilities
* Facilitate the implementation of the sustainability strategy by working closely with key internal stakeholders.
* Support the development and implementation of KPIs to follow up on the sustainability strategy
* Communicate the status of the work on implementing the sustainability strategy and other relevant sustainability topics relevant to Alfa Laval.
* Contribute to the development of sustainability trainings.
* Monitor and evaluate relevance existing, new, and emerging sustainability regulations, standards and guidelines, such as the EU Taxonomy, CSRD, TCFD disclosures etc.
* Provide guidance on the company responses to questions or statements of positions on sustainability related matters, including industry surveys, customer questionnaires and other relevant questionnaires.
* Competencies, experience, and attitudes to do the job.

Who you are
* A relevant academic background at Masters' level with sustainability as an integrated part.
* As a minimum 3 years of experience from working with sustainability including experience from driving change involving a wide range of stakeholders.
* Knowledge of existing, new, and emerging sustainability regulations, standards and guidelines, such as the EU Taxonomy, GRI, SASB, CSRD, TCFD disclosures, etc.
* Excellent in verbal and written English
* You have an organized working style and are good at prioritizing
* You are able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders across multiple business areas
* You are pragmatic, flexible and capable of actively handling problem solving independently
* You have a collaborative mindset
