Sustainability Manager

At the factory in Karlskrona, NKT is designing, developing and manufacturing the high-voltage power cable solutions enabling the transition to renewable energy. Here, you will join a diverse organization at an internationally recognized engineering center operating one of the most advanced high-voltage test halls, a state-of-the-art cable manufacturing and the NKT Victoria – the most sustainable cable-laying vessel in the offshore industry.

As a central player in the global transition towards renewable energy, NKT is continuously reducing the environmental impact of its activities. To be able to move faster we are now expanding and strengthening our organization with a Sustainability Manager for High Voltage Solutions in Karlskrona.

In this role you will be part of developing and support the implementation of NKT's Sustainability strategy towards our business line.  You will also support our daily business to ensure a timely and correct reporting of our sustainability data. You will be responsible for a  team of environmental specialists and sustainability experts committed to advancing our business toward our targets.

Significant impact on our business

* Continue the development and implementation of our Sustainability strategy in close collaboration with internal stakeholders
* Own target setting to meet NKT group targets.
* Ensure compliant, accurate and timely reporting towards external and internal stakeholders
* Operate a team of highly engaged sustainability specialists.
* Ensure continuous improvements and provide support expert support for decision-making
* Assess and mitigate sustainability-related risks in in own responsibility area

You have a strategic mindset and the ability to influence others. You are decisive, good at communicating and self-motivated. Since you will work closely with stakeholders and your team, a collaborative mindset and an ability to build and sustain relations are important. An analytical and innovative mind and the ability to develop results are key since you will handle complex matters.

You also have:

* Several years of experience developing and implementing sustainability strategies.
* A good business and financial understanding and the ability to provide solutions that meet strategic and operational business needs.
* Robust knowledge of sustainability legislation in the Nordics and EU as well as of international charters respected by the company.
* Robust knowledge of investor-related ESG requirements
* Experience as a manager
* Advanced skills in written and spoken English, Swedish is beneficial.
