Our first aircraft is the ES-19, a nineteen-passenger airliner with an operating range of 400 km. The ES-19 is a fully electric aircraft, and our goal is to have the aircraft certified for commercial operation by 2026.

Role Overview
We are now looking for a Sustainability Manager with a passion for sustainability and a drive to make a real impact when building a new industry in Sweden and abroad. As the second person to join the sustainability team, you will have the chance to form your role and the team, and even more important, formalize and implement Heart’s sustainability strategy. You will be working holistically on Heart’s sustainability strategies, reporting and policy engagements and you will get the chance to have a real impact on our success story and see the results of your work. As the sustainability team is still a small team, we value great self-discipline and a natural talent to make things happen. You will be reporting to our Sustainability Lead.
To succeed in this role, we believe you have 5+ years’ experience in sustainability policies, reporting and external stakeholder relationships. We would like to see that you have previous experience in setting up processes and systems for sustainability related target setting and reporting.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Formulating and following up on key sustainability KPIs across the organization

Develop and implement Heart’s ESG policies and strategies

Managing internal and external sustainability reporting

Work with the procurement team to set up processes for supply chain sustainability
Qualifications & Experience
-
Master’s degree in relevant field
-
5+ years’ experience in sustainability strategies, building processes, reporting and stakeholder relationships
-
Excellent knowledge of relevant sustainability frameworks, including IFC PS, UN Global Compact, EU Taxonomy

Relevant experiences in development of processes, systems and reporting

Good understanding and awareness of EU and Swedish laws and regulations pertaining to non-financial reporting and sustainability

Highly organized and result-driven

Experience working in a start-up environment

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Swedish is a plus
