Mölnlycke is now looking for a Sustainability Manager – OR Solutions to join us. This position can be based anywhere across Europe either remotely or close to one of our hubs, with a preference to our global HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden.
In this position within the OR Solutions business area, you’ll spearhead Mölnlycke’s sustainability strategy, WeCare”, specifically within this BA. Your responsibilities will include driving the implementation of WeCare, with a focus on product portfolio, commercialization, and operations. You’ll work collaboratively across the organization to strengthen our commitment to sustainability, ensuring alignment with Mölnlycke’s core values. As the champion of this initiative, you’ll play a pivotal role in advancing our sustainability efforts.

Your main tasks include:
Decide on and own the ORS Sustainability Roadmap and targets in alignment with the Corporate WeCare roadmap.
Building insights and knowledge on customer needs and market development regarding sustainability for strategic planning.
Create alignment and interaction with corporate sustainability function and act as the ORS representative in relevant forums.​
Chair, lead, and manage the cross-functional ORS Sustainability Steering Committee to develop ORS roadmap, ambitions, and targets.​
Chair, lead, and manage OR Solutions sustainability forums for local markets, supporting them with roadmaps, training, and global material development.​
Ensuring follow-up on set KPIs and report to LT/corporate functions, as well as tracking and follow up on actions to reach targets like SBTI and SPPA development.​
Provide input to corporate initiatives from ORS. Be accountable for evidence and HE strategy needed for sustainable market leadership.​
Drive cross-functional BA-specific initiatives around sustainability, identifying scope for improvement in alignment with Corporate Sustainability Central function across WeCare’s sustainability roadmap (Responsible Partnership, Ethical Business, and Green Mindset pillars). Represent the business area in relevant external and internal sustainability networks or interactions.​

What you’ll need
Possess a deep understanding of how sustainability intersects with various business aspects, including marketing, commercial, operations, and R&D.​
Demonstrate the ability to engage and align the interests of a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external.​
Have experience with Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001), ISCC, FSC, and SBTi.
Demonstrate experience working in international multi-cultural organizations with a matrix structure. ​
Showcase excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written, to drive the sustainability agenda for internal and external stakeholders.​
Exhibit leadership with authority and credibility, ensuring accountability for actions and outcomes.​
Possess informal leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration in a cross-functional environment.​
Demonstrate strong business acumen to localize sustainability initiatives and commercialize them effectively.​
Proficient in English, both written and spoken.​
Hold a relevant Master's degree, MBA, or equivalent working experience.​
