Job Description
We are looking for a Sustainability Manager to join our team in Stockholm. In this role you work to integrate sustainability into everything we do, as well as to contribute to & Other Stories long term goal to become a truly sustainable company, through leadership, competence, and passion.
You encourage and contribute to the shared responsibility of creating and protecting an inclusive and welcoming workplace where everyone is allowed to self-identify.
The role, which is both strategic and operational, is responsible for setting the sustainability direction for & Other Stories, in line with the Group Sustainability Vision and Strategy to ensure that the H&M Group keeps the position as sustainability leader. You will act both strategically and hands-on. In this role you will be a part of the management team and you will also be staff responsible.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Set direction for the sustainability work that secures our ambition and leadership position, both environmental and social.
With your team, identify relevant focus areas and ensure that we have clear strategies and goals in place that are aligned with our ambitions
Secure that our goals are aligned with overall business goals and priorities
Secure cutting-edge knowledge on sustainability in general
Ensure a good understanding for the business in general and for internal functions in order to drive work in the best way
Spokesperson for general sustainability and group strategy areas
Develop ideas, drive investigations and create business cases and drive projects according to the project management method at & Other Stories

Qualifications
We would love to meet someone who:
In this role you ensure a sustainable workplace for your team with the right tools, engagement and competence to meet future needs and you inspire by being a spokesperson in internal and external channels. As a person we believe you are open-minded, humble and a strong leader.
Have minimum 5 years experience of working with sustainability in a large international organization. Preferably from the fashion industry.
Have experience from working with business development, project management and change management
Have the ability to set, develop and implement strategies
Have a strong business mindset and is always seeking what’s best for the customer
Are goal and result driven
Have an analytical and problem-solving mindset with a structured way of working
Strong project management skills with knowledge and experience in how to drive agile development
Strong communication and presentation skills - ability to explain and communicate in a way that is inspiring and easy to understand
Connector and collaborator, a high ability to build credibility, trust and relationships at all levels
Are an experienced leader with strong leadership qualities.

This is a permanent position based in Stockholm and you will report to Managing Director.
