Now, an opportunity has arisen for a Sustainability Officer to join our fantastic and competent Sustainable Business area. In this role, you inspire and develop the sustainability efforts within Sandvik Group. We offer a great opportunity to strongly influence our organization, while shaping and developing your own work.
Your mission
As Sustainability Officer you facilitate and ensure the data collection and processes connected to the ESG reporting process. You make sure that we have efficient system solutions that help us move towards a more automated performance management, and you support colleagues in preparing materials for presentations and extracting data for reporting on all levels. In addition, you’re developing processes and collecting and organizing data, while also being a point of contact for cross functions related to the sustainability shift targets.
You and the team further ensure that sustainability aspects are incorporated in relevant policy and strategy documents, including the information required by different stakeholders trough the rapidly developing reporting landscape, such as new regulations. The position is preferably in Sandviken although the right candidate can work in Stockholm and some partly remote.
Your character
We’re looking for a person who has experience from process development and project management. You have a relevant degree in business, data, or another relevant field. Being a data driven and an analytical problem solver, you’re organized and structured. You’re communicative and skilled in explicit writing, and confidently communicate in both written and verbal English. You’re passionate about sustainability and have a sense for technical opportunities and software solutions. To drive a completely new role from scratch is exciting to you and you see the benefits of being able to shape it according to your strategies - with great freedom and support from the team. As you enjoy exploring new territories, you always look for improvements and new possibilities. It’s a plus if you have work experience within sustainability as well as knowledge in Power BI and Office 365.
