Sustainability, Process & Tools Manager

Unit/Department Description:
Sourcing at Husqvarna is organized in several functions securing quality, delivery, cost efficiency and sustainability of supply to Husqvarna on a global level. In each brand division there is a separate sourcing organization. The sourcing organization within the Husqvarna Brand division are orientated towards different customer segmentation units, but also commodity/geographical areas. Husqvarna as a company has taken an active stand that we will have sustainability as a focus area. The newly established position will ensure we have the right focus on sustainability and process within sourcing. This new position will be part of the sourcing PGE management team.


Position/Job Description:
To have the ability to drive our sustainability agenda within sourcing, we will invest in resources and competence in Chemical Compliance to take our ambitions into real actions. The Sourcing sustainability + Process & tools Manager will be operational responsible for planning and execution of sourcing related sustainability tasks. The other main task is to drive process development for sourcing processes for the full HQBD sourcing team. In the role there is a need and possibility to break down high level targets into relevant sub-targets, but also find efficient ways to reach the targets. Most likely our suppliers will need support within sustainability area that also might give a need for some travels to our suppliers.


Essential Duties:
•       Ensure Husqvarna brand division sourcing department and our suppliers are following the chemical compliance directives that are developed by Husqvarna Compliance department.
•       Drive the development and implementation of efficient sourcing processes.
•       Educate and support our internal organization, as our suppliers, in understanding sustainability demands.
•       People leadership of team members


Preferred qualifications:
Education:       Minimum requirement: Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering or Chemical / Environment engineer or other relevant discipline.


Experience:       Minimum 3 years of work experience within the field or 7 years Industry experience.
Experience of Supplier Quality, Chemical compliance, Environmental/Sustainability and/or Change management/process development is of a clear advantage.
Languages:   Fluency in English is required (written and oral)


Skills and Capabilities:
•       Strong planning, organization, self-driven, change management, project management
•       Strong written and verbal communications skills
•       Strong interpersonal skills (e.g., tact/diplomacy, listening, negotiation, consulting).
•       Knowledge and experience with software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office) including presentation and database application
•       Understanding the importance of customer service and internal stakeholder management
