Here the future of business is expected to be heavily influenced by EU’s sustainability platforms such as the European Commission Action Plan on Sustainable Finance and the European Green Deal, both making sustainability business critical. On this new arena, KPMG sees a growing share of clients realise how good integration of sustainability in business strategy, governance, processes and practices improves financials. We are looking at strengthening our team with engaged professionals interested in growing our sustainability business practice by supporting current and new clients’ transformation towards increased sustainability.

We can therefore offer a variety of opportunities to work with the full range of sustainability integration matters, from strategy development to the CSRD regulatory proposal, due diligence, internal controls and advisory on product development. We foresee a demand on all 6 EU Taxonomy objectives as well as a potential extended EU Taxonomy to social objectives. We are therefore welcoming a diversity of relevant competences to meet the growing market needs.
As an experienced sustainability professional, you will participate in business development and sales, delivery of client engagements, and lead or take key roles in project teams. You will be given responsibilities and opportunity to grow by contributing to exciting projects on advancing the sustainability approaches of our clients. You will join our team based in Stockholm. Furthermore, we think that you have or are :
A professional with several years of professional experience from relevant area/-s. You could either be a specialist with deep knowledge in for example sustainability reporting (NFRD/CSRD, GRI, SASB/IIRC), sustainability risks, policies, climate change, value chain transformation or you could be all-round process oriented.
Besides subject matter expertise you have work experience within sustainability from an advisory, corporate or finance sector environment. This could mean a background as Head of Sustainability or driver of sustainability matters from a managing role at an institution, law firm, Governmental entity, NGO or else. Previous experience from a role in consulting business is an advantage but not a must.
Master of Science in business, management, finance, environmental technology or an education in circular economy, biodiversity or a related subject area.
Open-minded, independent self-starter and creative with ability to engage people and deliver projects – sometimes under tight time constraints.
Excellent written and oral communication, and presentation skills in English and Swedish.
Keen to work with clients and sales in order to present solutions and sell engagements.
Experience of working with clients to discuss and present engagements and provide recommendations.
Project work skills with good level of structure and organization.
Proficiency in relevant Microsoft Office tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, Power-BI and Word.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to build professional networks.
