Sustainability Retail Operations Manager, IKEA

The role of Sustainability is to envision and enable the Ingka of tomorrow through the lenses of becoming People and Planet Positive, and to make it part of everything we do as a company. We will do that by constantly challenging the status quo, finding new business models and solutions that enable us to move towards a People and Planet Positive IKEA with speed and scale and always inspire with creativity.
We believe this is best done with a centre of sustainability content and performance expertise in Group Sustainability, together with sustainability teams sitting embedded into the business units and other group functions.
We are looking for our next Sustainability Retail operations manager (SRO) who has a solid Leadership and Retail background and has a proven track record of leading large-scale operations, delivering on business goals with and through people.
We believe that the right candidate can take Sustainability Retail operations closer to Retail and strengthen the Retail ownership of the sustainability agenda, becoming climate positive. To establish a stronger leadership of sustainability in Retail with a clear agenda, deliverables and objectives. To support and empower the CSO and other leaders in our Ingka retail markets.
You will contribute with business competence to Group Sustainability and secure it’s Strategic development and integration into the One IKEA BPL. Then actively lead and follow up decided priorities with the country CSO, Business Development Manager and Sustainability leader.

The Retail Sustainability Manager will report to the Deputy Retail Operations Manager and be a member of Retail Management.
