We are looking for a Sustainability Specialist, Kalmar to join our team of professionals and to be a part of the Strategy, Sustainability and Technology Function division. The purpose of this role is to develop knowledge and standards for climate assessments, perform product life cycle/use phase data analytics and evaluate facility energy systems.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
Interpret and gain corporate knowledge of relevant sustainability standards and regulation (e.g. GHG, ISO, EU Taxonomy etc) and support EU Taxonomy alignments of products
Perform LCA´s incl. coordinate and support specific LCA-initiatives and inventory analysis
Together with the Head of Sustainability to liaise with the business operations (e.g. R&D, Prod Mgmt and Sourcing) to define a Kalmar framework regarding use of LCA´s (processes, methods, KPI´s, data models)
Develop training material and ensure access to support systems
Build emission models (in e.g. GaBi) and become a super user. Manage GaBi Plans and Processes
Analysis of product use phase data and use of relevant Sourcing data collaborating with other data analysts.
What you’ll need to succeed:
Education:
University degree (Bachelor or Master) in Energy, Environmental or Sustainability engineering or Environmental Economics or similar
Formal education in LCA and GHG is preferred
Relevant University Thesis
Based on need, Kalmar will provide training in e.g. GHG, LCA, ISO, EU Taxonomy etc.
Experience:
1-3 years of relevant experience on similar position is preferred
Practical experience required from LCA´s including management of emission factors, LCA softwares (e.g. GaBi) and common tools like google sheet etc.
Proficiency in GaBi Software is a must
Understanding of climate risk assessments
Well acquainted with relevant regulations, methods and standards
Skilled in data management and data analysis and visualisation of results.
Competencies:
Can work on multiple projects at a time and prioritise to meet deadlines
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
