You have probably worked practically with driving sustainability roadmaps in global companies and have a great knowledge of how to implement sustainability activities in operational work. Experience working in complex markets is also meritorious.

Currently, the team consists of seven members, with backgrounds in four different continents, different educational backgrounds, as well as age and gender, and share the different responsibilities within the area of sustainability at Scania Purchasing. As part of the team, you will have a dedicated area of responsibility but also work in close cooperation with your colleagues within the team to get sparring, feedback, and support. The work includes a broad range of tasks and priorities may change at short notice, therefore the team strives to work closely in order to be able to quickly support each other. Hence, we value that you are a flexible team player.

As a Sustainability Specialist at Scania Purchasing, one of your main targets is to integrate the sustainability business plan into Scania’s supply chain and the Scania Purchasing processes and support the organization within your field of expertise.

Your most important stakeholder however is the purchasing organization, and therefore you always strive to understand the impact your work has on the business, as well as support with your expertise when needed.

As a Scania employee, you are offered, in addition to personal and professional development opportunities, benefits; the option to sign an agreement for an employee car, mutual bonus, occupational pension, flexible working hours, lunch at reduced prices, and much more.
