Local Unit & Position Description
Are you looking to lead the growth of Sustainability Services in an innovative, digitally enabled, purpose driven business? Are you motivated to support customers to achieve business success and sustainability in their businesses and extended supply chains?
We’re looking for a dynamic, growth focused and entrepreneurial Principal Consultant with broad experience in the domain of Sustainability to build our Sustainability, Assessment and Assurance team in Finland as part of a team across the Nordics to help us achieve our vision and goals. Collaborating with our European product and sales experts, you will be shaping our offer and go-to-market approach drawing on your experience in business development and sales.
This is an exciting opportunity to take an influential role in our growing Nordic team by shaping our offer and taking to market our full suite of Supply Chain services to help customers: improve their commercial performance, enhance supply chain resilience, reduce ESG risks in their supply chains, improve safety and EHS in their operations and supply chains, accelerate their digital transformation, drive their decarbonization agenda, enhance traceability and transparency and differentiate their products and services in the market.
You will get the opportunity to win, lead and develop projects with key customers and new customers on a wide range of services. By solving real world customer and industry issues you will further develop our value propositions drawing on our technical, digital and domain expert capabilities.

Key Accountabilities:
You will be expected to lead the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of Sustainability and Supply Chain services and may have specialism and expertise in several of them, including:
Supply Chain Risk Management (Strategy, Sustainable sourcing, Supplier engagement…),
Supplier Assessment and Audit (Social Audits, Environmental Audits, Process and Quality Audits…)
Supply Chain Traceability
Experience of solving supply chain sustainability challenges in specific industries such as food and beverage or FMCG industries.
Green Finance SPOs markets in terms of Assurance
In addition, you will be responsible for making proposals, winning projects and leading project teams as well as helping to grow our business through the following activities:
Proactively seeking to identify customer needs, developing tailored solutions and selling these to new and existing clients.
Directing projects, ensuring they are executed to meet or exceed clients’ expectations, on time, on budget and to DNV quality standards.
Leading and communicating effectively with your project teams and clients.
Introducing services from your own/ existing discipline(s) to new clients and new services to existing clients.
Position Qualifications
Experienced consultant, with at least 5 years of experience in a market facing Sustainability Services
Proven track record in sales and business development in the domain of Sustainability Services
Strong experience of leading & delivering professional services as a trusted advisor and thought leader
Academic qualifications relevant to sustainability subject areas.
Proven project and/or team leader, delivering service excellence.
Able to clearly delegate tasks and provide sufficient guidance, support and feedback on performance to teams of experts and Consultants.
Ability to navigate in a growing and changing organsiation
Willingness to travel and work around Finland and the Nordic area, and on occasions overseas.
Fluency in English and Swedish, Danish or Norwegian is a prerequisite.
