Synge Sustainable Catering mission is to stimulate local and sustainable food creation via catering services, food workshops and courses. Synge catering will be initially launched in Synge France properties in St Gengoux le National and soon after in Linköping Sweden. Our long term vision is to create multiple local catering sites that would mutually interact and cooperate.

Who are we looking for?
As the name indicates we are looking for chef and co-owner of the Synge Sustainable Catering. Synge’s mother company’s contribution will be mostly in providing space, local farmers’ network, financial investments, marketing and staff (Synge offers holistic internships for international students who will be participating in the project). The role of the director shall be to manage all the operational tasks and overall business operations. We expect you to have following skills and qualifications:
Higher education preferably linked to restauration
Hands on cooking experiences preferably within sustainable cuisine
Minimum 5 years within restaurant business
Fluent in English is a must. Proficiency in French and/or Swedish is welcome
Management experience
Previous teaching experiences are welcome
Independence and traveling flexibility
Strong interest in sustainable food and alignment with Synge’s mission and vision
