We are looking for a person who is passionate about creating an IKEA fit for the future, with a genuine interest to create a better everyday life for the many people, that can lead the sustainable mobility agenda to reach our goals!
To succeed in this role, you have proven advanced understanding of Sustainable Mobility and/or other relevant area and bringing a minimum of 7 years’ experience of strategic sustainability work, and/or business leadership. You have solid experience in leading and integrating mobility and climate action into the business at a strategic and operational level. You have excellent stakeholder management skills, and you are good at building trust and strong relationships on all levels in the organisation, as well as experience from working with external stakeholders as NGOs and UN agencies.
As a person we believe that you hold strong leadership and decision-making skills, who creates solutions and implement them. You are proactive, and a driving force behind the initiative and can explain and communicate the vision effectively.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
In this role you will lead the sustainable mobility agenda to secure we meet the goals set in People and Planet Positive strategy to be more accessible with lower climate footprint and be responsible for leading the sustainable mobility area across Ingka Group and collaborating with companies within IKEA ecosystem.
Amongst many tasks you will:
• Responsible for leading the mobility area across Ingka Group and collaborating with companies within IKEA ecosystem
• Have complete overview of the topic area overall & set a strategic ambition level,
• Keeping holistic overview of the mobility agenda across the business
• Leading strategic content development and inputs to strategies, policies, rules related to sustainability, climate and mobility
• Defining synergies, prioritizing, and initiating right tactics to meet the climate goals
• Leading the mobility matrix organization with specialists within different functions and leaders from different business units, to enable advances within the topic of mobility and accessibility
• Develop specific strategic development projects needed to meet ambitions together with mobility working group to secure ownership of results into the business units.
• To be a centre of expertise on mobility and support the delivery of our climate and mobility through internal leadership across the companies.
• Develop frameworks and tools to support execution in the business and support monitoring and reporting of overall progress toward achievement of commitments and goals (accessibility, share of zero-emissions transportation, climate footprint).
• Managing relationships with external partners on mobility topic.
• Provide input to the business plan and P&PP strategy, as well as other steering documents to secure mobility related topics are covered.
• Cooperating with the sustainability impact and analysts team to secure development, integration and follow-up of relevant KPIs and follow-up across the organization
• Representation of the topic internally and externally
• Speaking partner for topic related questions with other IKEA companies and functions.
• Speaking partner for Group Communication within the mobility topic
• External spokesperson on sustainable mobility topic
This role will be in Malmö, Sweden and report to the Sustainability Policy and Strategy Manager.
