About the job

We are looking for a Sustainable Sourcing Specialist to join our Sourcing team. Together with the team you will be part of making Polarium Sourcing function fully integrated with sustainability regarding social, ethical and environmental aspects. In this role you will work within the sourcing function but in close cooperation with the Polarium Sustainability team and with a clear focus on issues related to sustainability, including trainings and development projects.

The position is based in Kista, Sweden.

Your responsibilities

You will; manage data assurance related to suppliers’ minerals reports such as conflict minerals and cobalt, handle supplier code of conduct (implementation, assessment & follow up, development), support in internal and external audits with expertise in sustainability areas and support our sustainability process to coordinate suppliers’ GHG emissions. You will also collaborate with our Sustainability Process in data collection for product lifecycle assessments (LCA). As well as:

Be responsible in daily operations to develop and improve quality in sourcing work related to Polarium sustainability strategy

Lead sustainability reporting and data assurance related to sustainable sourcing

Incorporate sustainability and compliance improvements in long term sourcing processes.

Establish, structure and develop the Sustainability areas within Sourcing in collaboration with Strategic sourcing.

Qualification and experience:

- We think you have more than 5+ years’ experience in similar roles within sustainability and sourcing in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge in international CSR frameworks such as the Responsible Mineral Initiative (RMI) and the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Sourcing
- Experience from Conflict minerals and Cobalt reporting and auditing
- Experience from implementing Sustainable Sourcing framework
- Experience from Supplier auditing and/or development
- University degree in engineering, technology, sustainability, supply chain or similar
- International work experience
