Our Exciting Opportunity
For Control Systems in the Radio Base Station and the RAN, on increasing number of targets and in the ever more complex Radios, there is a need for excellent SW Architects that contribute to delivered products. It has proven to be a critical success factor in previous SW development of control systems and end-to-end OPEX-reducing features.
We develop the central SW platform for the multi-standard RBS, with many stakeholders. You will be involved in all development activities especially in the early phases, such as architecture design, proof of concepts, and system design.
Depending on your profile, you can move towards an Architect role, in a functional area for RAN operation and maintenance(O&M), or a technical driving role to get new features done, from the study phase to the delivered product and the customer feedback.

You will, depending on your profile
Work in an international team of experienced SW architects or technical drivers
Have the support and report to the Section Manager in the technology management section of Control System
Play an operational technical leadership role
Get more and more competent in SW solutions for O&M services in the new RBS and its Radio access network
Carry out continuous analysis and requirement handling
Conduct technical studies and discussions
Strive for rapid development of early products and prototypes, for user feedback
Perform modular implementation design, with a high degree of automation
Drive continuous improvements of products, processes and Ways of Working
As Sw Architect Perform troubleshooting and develop and test high-quality products, and by the support and early phase design to development teams


To be successful in the role you must have
A University degree (MSc or BSc) or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of experience in software development
Genuine interest in software architecture and design
Senior programming skills in a few languages, such as C++, C, Erlang, Java, Python
Experience in Linux and Cloud environments
Experience from Test-Driven Development and CI/CD
Competence to effectively leading change, originating ideas, gaining commitment
Ability to learn new technologies, methods, and tools
Product development and product lifecycle management knowledge
Outstanding interpersonal, communication skills
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
