About this opportunity
Business Area Cloud Software & Services (BCSS) is amid a transformation to a true cloud native and micro service paradigm. We in Development Core Engineering unit in Software Production System SPS have the mission to develop and provide state-of-the-art Cloud Native Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) System that can be used by all Product Development Units (PDU) to fast and flexible provide new outstanding features to our customers. The system includes everything from test staging & automation, system monitoring & analytics to tooling for FOSS, Security and Vulnerability control.

We are looking for Software Architects for our Cloud Native Software Flow (CNSF) program who will Innovate, Experiment, Design, Test, Deploy, Maintain and Refactor code for services and tools for the CI/CD System.
You will
Together with skillful and creative colleagues transform Ericsson R&D!
Leading and taking architectural and design decisions in close collaboration with Product Owners and DevOps teams
Hands on guide DevOps Teams in the realization of new features and/or refactoring updates
Drive continuous improvements of the tool chain, system, and the processes in and around the CNSF Program
Be an active part of CNSF Architect team responsible for architecture, design and system management
To be successful in the role you must have
A university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
Good business knowledge of what characteristics a Continuous Integration System need to provide to be a major advantage for BDGS and Ericsson
A Curious, Open minded, Perseverant, Collaborative, Eager to learn and a Can-Do demeanor
An inclusive approach that appreciates and builds upon different, and sometimes competing, points of view
Proficient in English, both in spoken and written
Technical Skills
Excellent programming skills in a general-purpose programming language such as Python, Java, C++ or similar
Huge passion and understanding of software system development, preferably within the cloud native paradigm
Solid knowledge within the area of CI/CD systems as well as automation of such
History of making significant impact developing and operating large software systems
Having the following technical skills is an advantage
Understanding of Kubernetes
Understanding of Spinnaker
Understanding of what utilizing, using and contributing to Open Source implies
Knowledge of security and/or integrity in aspects of software systems
