We are now looking for SW & Control System Test Engineers
 

Description

You will be part of the Chapter SW/Control System Test & Simulation, which is one of five competence areas within our SW Tribe.

Our aim within the SW Tribe is to develop embedded software solutions that support our vision to shape mobility for a more sustainable future.

As a SW & Control System Test Engineer you will work in a team with simulation and test engineers. In that team you will develop MIL, SIL, HIL and bench rig systems and you will work with manual and automated tests in these environments. The team is working closely together with other teams in different areas in a global organization.

We are looking for a creative and innovative engineer with experience in verification and validation of SW and control systems for Vehicle Motion, ADAS/AD, Thermal, Infotainment or Vehicle Body systems. You will join an agile organization, where team work, empowered self-organizing teams and quick learning cycles is a key to success. Thus you need to be a good team player and continuously strive to make the team successful.

The role involves:

- Define and investigate what test environments to use to verify different SW functionality and control systems
- Configure and set up test rigs, MIL, SIL, Open Loop and Closed Loop HIL systems
- Develop test methods and test cases, including strategies for test automation
- Execute test cases, analyze results and write test reports & issue reports
- Develop work processes and structures for test in test rigs and MIL/SIL/HIL environments

      

 We are looking for someone who has:

- More than 8-10 years of experience of testing automotive embedded controls software in different type of test environments as for example MIL, SIL, OL/CL HIL, sub-system and system test environments
- Experience of test automation, scripting mindset, and coding skills in Python and C
- Mentoring skills and ability to share knowledge with colleagues
- Experience of Matlab/Simulink, Autosar , Ethernet, Functional Safety (ISO 2262), Machine learning, Canoe, CAPL, IPG CarMaker, Tracetronic ECU Test and/or NI VeriStand
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in Computer Science, Systems Control and Mechatronics or similar
- Fluent in English both spoken and written
- Driver license for vehicle
