SW designer for systems

Ericsson Mobile Platforms mission is to help our customers sell more phones. We offer a complete platform portfolio across 2,5 and 3G to manufacturers of mobile phones and other wireless devices. Our System Verification group works with verification of system level performance and concurrent functionality. The group is also performing advanced verification of Java, Application server, Operation server, and Multimedia functionality on a use-case level.

SW designer for systems

As a system SW designer you will be responsible to maintain and develop the Heimdall test environment at system verification department used for testing 3G-Platform. You will design, implement and verify SW. The deliveries are test documentation, test code and test results.

The successful candidate has the following competence:
At least 4 years of practical experience within the following areas
Telecommunication within mobile systems
Designer of systems
Software architecture
Design/implementation/validation of C code
Embedded software design using C, OSE
Configuration management using ClearCase in large systems
Experience in Ericsson systems and documentation

We expect you to have:
Master of science or similar
Ability to work independently and in teams
Analytical mind with a great interest in the latest 3G technology
