SW Developer

Description: We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer that will be in the hearth of the development of future electronic powertrain solutions. We are expanding our software teams with focus on the development of the software platform.
The in-house developed software platform provides a large set of generic software services, like electronic hardware abstraction, central diagnostic functions and various communication tasks.

The group is organized in several cross-functional teams according to Agile/SCRUM principles; the work is distributed among the stakeholders and covers requirement breakdown, system/function design, s/w implementation and test.

Main Activities are:
• Embedded Software development
• Develop Drivers and framework
• Design Software including Architectural Design in C code
• Verification of defined technical solutions
• Build Software/Architectural Design Documentation and specification.
• Support technical Embedded Soft
Support technical Embedded Software Investigations

Requirements, experiences needed:
• Documented hands on experience of Embedded Software development.
• Experience in target CPUs NXP MPC5xxx or Infineon Aurix is a merit.
• Knowledge in programming embedded real time systems in C
• Competences in embedded software architecture, design and verification
• Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
• The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work, autonomy and ability to work in a team is key.
• Open-minded and pro-active, structured and a drive to take the lead is an advantage
• Bachelor degree or higher in Embedded Software development with interest and good knowledge in electronics. Knowledge in automatics engineering and/or mechatronics is a merit
• Previous Experience in Volvo Powertrain software development is a merit but not a requirement.
• Autosar knowledge and experience will be valued too.
