We are looking for a skilled Embedded SW Application Engineer to strengthen our Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) team.


At the forefront of Research and Development in the automotive industry, Volvo Group Truck Technology (GTT) offers you the opportunity to become a part of the ADAS Release Management Team. The ADAS team is part of the Vehicle Motion & Energy Management Technology Stream and has the responsibility to lead the development of ADAS and Active Safety systems for the full life cycle enabling tomorrow's trucks and buses. VMEM stream is part of Vehicle Technology, responsible for developing vehicle components and systems for the different brands within the Volvo Group.

The Advanced driver-assistance systems ART works tightly together in agile teams where helping and supporting each other in our daily deliveries is just as important as our personal development on the journey towards our common goals.
We develop and deliver a complete scalable ADAS platform solution for all Volvo brands from SW & HW requirement generation and concept design to sensor data fusion & function development, simulation, continuous integration and deployment, quality assurance in SIL & HIL environments as well as in prototype trucks and series-produced trucks.


What challenges do we offer?
As Embedded SW Application Engineer, we expect that you will be able to maintain and perform fully automated test cases to verify requirements and validate the stability of our computational node software.
You will be the first line contact for V3 SIL rig, responsible for the daily checks and analysis of the test results as well as presenting test report for promotion & release boards.
You’ll also maintain, update and develop the simulation & configuration for the V3/V5 SIL/HIL environment.
You will support the function developers in running the V3 testing.
We even expect you to, together with the rest of the team identify improvements and define how to shape the QA process for future generation products.

You have an academic background in software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering or a documented hands-on experience in test automation and CI/CD quality assurance.
You have evidence of working with complex product & test-driven development within an agile team set-up.
You have a solid knowledge of testing theory and experience with HIL/SIL testing environments, vector tools such as CANoe CANalayzer and CAPL scripts as well as CI/CD environment and tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Gradle…
You have good programming skills in C# & Python and good knowledge on classic/adaptive AUTOSAR and service-oriented architectures.
We think that it is very meritorious if you have experience and understanding of ADAS functionalities and various perceptions sensors (radars, cameras…).
