What's in it for you?
For vehicles to reach high levels of automation, data driven development is a huge challenge and necessity. The initial step towards ensuring this is to carry out a well quantified and good quality data collection. To ensure that the high volume of data produced from automotive sensors, such as camera, radar, LiDAR, and ultrasonic is of good quality, capabilities in both hardware and software platforms need to be secured. In the team Data Collection Platform, we are responsible for Data Acquisition System which involves the design, architecture and setup of the hardware platform that lies at the core to support the data collection using the test vehicles. The team’s role also extends to the development of software modules to perform Qualitative and Quantitative assessment on the data that is being collected, for e.g. data health and sanity checks, data validation and visualization, data profiling etc. The team plays a vital part in successful deployment of data driven framework for development, validation and verification of Autonomous Drive.
Work and collaborate cross functionally with Hardware and Software in all phases from research and conceptual evaluation to development and deployment in the car. Be involved with solutions that deploy state-of-the-art technology Development, integration and deployment of Data Visualization, Data logging & Data Tagging for data collection and quality assessment. Work closely with other teams internally, as well as collaborate with our external partners and suppliers.
