SW Developer CI/CD DevOps - Autonomous systems

SW Developer CI/CD DevOps - Autonomous systems

Arbetsbeskrivning

Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

We are looking for developers to help us run our world class development environment and CI/CD pipeline, which forms the backbone of our Autonomous Vehicles R&D.

Do you want to be a part of our team which makes real and meaningful changes for our users? See your technical decisions play out as we constantly look for new ways to improve our development environment?

We are a close-knit team of eigth persons including our manager. We take learning and knowledge sharing very seriously, and it's important to us that all members understand and have a stake in our team planning. A good mix of clean architecture and pragmatism is encouraged in our discussions of how to solve problems, with managers focusing on keeping the workload well balanced, and listening to and addressing concerns as they arise.

The responsibility for the team includes the autonomous systems department for Scania and also its global partner brands. This is a complex and broad development environment, that always needs to be kept up-to-date with current tools and technologies, all while remaining stable for the users (feature developers).

You will have the opportunity to work flexibly based on feedback from the system users. You can expect to be introduced to many new technologies in this role, including: Git, Conan, CMake, Docker, GitLab CI, Ansible, Adaptive Autosar and QNX. Continued learning is always encouraged. We also offer you a possibility to combine it with either:

• Responsibility for coaching and guiding strategic solutions (Integration, tools and tool chains).

 or

• Responsibility for our ever-changing Backlog and visualisation of our Roadmap.

In both these roles you will be able to use your previous experience as a feature developer or DevOps developer and further advance both your technical and leader skills.

We’re in a phase of understanding needs, improving and setting up our tool chain. This entails a lot of own responsibility and drive to systematically bring in and transfer new knowledge and tools to the team and our operations.

To enjoy the working task, we think you already fulfil these requirements:

• B.Sc. or above in Embedded Systems, Computer Science, or a similar discipline

• Comfortable working with Linux and C++
• Professional experience and already familiar with at least one of our tools, and willing to learn and become proficient with more.
• Experience with CI/CD, DevOps and Agile

Are you the right person, do not hesitate to apply!
