The department Systems & Controls develops embedded systems for vehicles and fills them with functionality. We are working in many different domains, such as Active Safety, Connectivity and Electrified Propulsion, for both the automotive and non-automotive customers. We are now looking for new team members to strengthen the technical area focusing on Electric Propulsion Systems to the Headquarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Environment and Sustainability The electrified propulsion system is a key technology to fulfil sustainability goals regarding environment but also regarding operational costs, performance, and working environment. The prioritizing of the incentives is varying with the usage domains and based on use case. We need to take this into consideration when developing systems and controls in our customers’ products.

Our Projects We are working with function and system development related to the high and low voltage components in electrified propulsion systems. We work with model based software development and system simulation in concept, design and testing phases. This includes system design and configuration with respect to especially high voltage components and systems. The projects are executed in close collaboration with OEMs and suppliers. The work requires great experience and above all interest within electric propulsion systems, their typical components and control systems.

Your Profile You have some years of work experience within the area of electric propulsion and relevant educational background. You have a passionate interest for environmentally friendly vehicles such as electric or hybrid-electric systems and their usage in the traffic system. Either on system level or on component level such as Li-battery, power electronics, electric machines, chargers or control software.

Meriting Experience from control of power electronics and high voltage electric propulsion systems, i.e. Li-battery, inverter/converter, e-machine Experience from model-based function and system development, i.e. Simulink, Modelica, or similar tools. Experience from MIL and/or HIL usage, setup, and configuration Experience from ECU SW development or rapid prototyping Knowledge about Autosar and ISO26262 standards Experience from industry, either at OEM or Tier1, or similar within the field electric propulsion Knowledge from C/C++, python, dSpace, Vector, CarMaker or similar Fluency in English Driver’s license B
