The Job
We are looking for a Software Engineer in the SW factory / Continuous Integration(CI) and Continuous Delivery(CD) area. You will join either of the teams depending on your profile & work with developing new IT solutions for the CI&CD of embedded Software. We want to make the Software integration best in automotive world and we are evolving the Software Delivery and Deployment from a pure manual step to a fully automatic environment with continuous testing and continuous delivery.
We are located in Gothenburg and the group consist of about 20 people working with enhancing the SW development experience for everyone working with the SW domain. It is an experienced team you join and you are expected to work with a high level of autonomy. We value taking initiatives and improving where you see opportunities.

What will you do?
Main Activities are:
* Create new Jenkins pipelines for SW Integration&Verification, SW release or SW Simulation
* Create new IT Solutions for SW Integration&Verification, SW release or SW Simulation
* Support stakeholder teams with tool & pipeline issues
* Lead improvement work in SW Factory area
* Collaborate with Group Digital & IT on implementation of new IT solutions for SW Factory
Requirements
Many skills are valued, and different competences could be a match for the position. Below are valued skills but you are not expected to meet them all:
* Software Development or Release experience from Volvo GTT
* Software Development experience from Volvo D&IT
* Knowledge in Python & Bash
* Experience with Jenkins
* Knowledge in Git and Artifactory
* Knowledge in Matlab & Simulink
* Experience with Front-End Development
* Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written
* The work requires skills in both teamwork and individual work, autonomy and ability to work in a team is key.
* Open-minded and pro-active, structured and a drive to take the lead is an advantage
