SW lead and developer

At Semcon we believe that digital technology drives a better future. We are now looking for a SW lead and developer with skills and drive for embedded software in Västerås.

You will be part of our growing Digital Services team and work together with kind and skilled individuals in challenging assignments and with exciting customers. Always with the end-user in mind. We all come from different areas of expertise and our ambition is to build a strong team with skills tanging from digital strategy, project management to software and emerging tech. We have a long history of working with embedded software to create connected and smart products.

What you’ll do

- You will ensure that the SW team reaches its goals.
- Steer technical and architectural design decisions within the SW team.
- Identify and close gaps in alignment with the SW team and towards the project team.
- Having fun!


We look beyond your resumé, but here is a starting point:

- 3 + years of software development experience
- Experience with working according to industrial development processes.
- Strong communication skills and experience in working with cross-functional team.


At present, we especially need someone with proven leadership experience, who can drive a customer’s software team in parallel with implementing and optimizing signal processing algorithms in C. If possible, with experience from working with automotive industry related SW development standards
